What we’ll do

In this class we’ll prepare together the original sfoglia for tagliatelle and the typical ragù bolognese. In addition, we’ll prepare the famous Tiramisù, one of the most popular dessert in Italy.

The word Tiramisù means “pick me up” or “cheer me up” and it’s a dessert quite easy to make. Mascarpone cheese is mixed with sugar and eggs. Savoiardi biscuits (ladyfingers) are dipped in espresso coffee, layered with the cream and flavoured with cocoa. It’s very important to use a good Italian coffee, rigorously prepared with Moka. Simple but effective, this dessert will leave you feeling full and satisfied.

When I prepare my tiramisù I’m always very careful about the product I use. When it’s possible I use the fresh eggs of my henhouse, I usually buy mascarpone cheese right from trusted dairies because I want to use only high quality products.

Of course, at the end of the meal, you’ll taste the result, enjoying a special italian dessert.
